Moso: Part 1 is an exhibit featuring seven paintings that tell the first half of a 14-page architectural scale graphic story. The paintings, specifically designed to fit the walls of the gallery, depict the surroundings and neighbourhood of the gallery space. This exhibit will provide a unique and immersive viewing experience for visitors.

About the Artist

Mathew Reichertz is an artist and associate professor based in Halifax. He received his BFA from Concordia University and his MFA from NSCAD University, where he now teaches. Reichertz has exhibited his work extensively across Canada and has received recognition for his achievements, including being named the Eastern Canadian winner of the RBC Canadian Painting Competition in 2005 and being shortlisted for the Sobey Art Award in 2006. His art can be found in several institutional collections, including the Nova Scotia Art Bank, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, and the Dalhousie Art Gallery. Reichertz is a member of the Hermes Collective.
