Taking graphic cues from the natural world, the works in this exhibition explore a visual vocabulary of free-form abstract shapes and assemblages of colour. An excerpt from Foster's artist statement (written in collaboration with Chat GPT) reads:

As an artist, I am fascinated by the origins of life and the various theories of how we and everything around us came to be. I think of art-making as a form of world-building, a way to create and shape new realities. The creative process is, in a sense, an act of creation, and artists are the creative demiurges of our world.

Forms & Sensibles
includes explorations of 2D painted assemblages on wood, board and paper. It also includes several iterations of Foster's artists statement created in collaboration with CHAT GPT.

Gallery closed Easter Sunday, April 9th.
